Sunday School meets during school term time in the Community Hall at 10.00am. The children link in with the church service through stories, songs, prayers, crafts and games. They then join the congregation for the Eucharist Prayer.
Our baptism services are held on the last Sunday of the month at 12.00 noon. These services are specially planned and last about half an hour, and we know that many people find them a most enjoyable occasion.
At baptism (also known as Christening) you and your appointed Godparents promise to raise your child to know God loves them, and to help them to follow Jesus as a member of the Church.
If you would like to have your child baptised at St. John's, please contact Brenda Layfield, who will be pleased to help you. Brenda can be contracted by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
You can find more information on Christenings at the Church of England website.
